T-1 Club is created to act as a support group for children with Type 1 Diabetes and their Caregivers where they can meet and share experience on the best means to manage their condition and avoid acute and the dreaded chronic complications.
T-1 Club main objective is to help children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families to live well and to lead healthy lives, free of complications – in spite of the diabetes.
Activities conducted by T1 Club include:
Free blood glucose testing kits and strips are also provided to eligible children

- Regular get-together for children with diabetes and their caregivers to discuss and share experiences
- Talks/advice by healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, diabetes educators, dietitians)
- Group exercise and in-door activities
- Social Outings to recreational places (e.g. zoo, shopping malls, gardens)
- Diabetes Camps
